403 Access Forbidden by CSRFProtector!

Dear Forum Members,
I got this error the first time I tried to log in after installing Open Docman: "403 Access Forbidden by CSRFProtector!"

Please I need help resolving this issue.

PS. I installed OpenDocMan on XAMPP Server for Windows X64 based system.

Email notification not working

I have downloaded and installed Opendocman v 1.3.5 but I have got issues with email notification.

1. User Account creation - email notification ok

2. Uploading of new document by user A - only reviewer is receiving email.

2. Authorize new document -

Options 'Email all users' 'Email whole department' 'Email these users' is not working - Users is not receiving email when document has been authorized.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

My brother in law had a problem with checking out files. When he did that and downloaded the file he could not open it. The file was corrupted. He already discovered that there was a single byte (space) added to file file at the first position.

After some investigation i discovered the problem. The php code just returns the file that fine. The only problem is that the buffer was not empty and that is contained a single space. So a space is returned with the file content attached. So maybe it's a good idea to clear the buffers just before the php code returns the file, so it will works always. But were is the space coming from? In this case it was inside the dutch php language file. The first spot in the file, outside the php tags there is a space. Removing the space character solved the issue in this case.

Office 2013 xlsx and docx issue

I installed App Version: 1.3.5 Database Version: 1.2.8.
Downloading of xlsx and docx files is causing trouble. Excel fails totally, word can recover.
The download via OpenDocMan does not give the same result as downloading the file directly from the file system?

Mark-up showing in displayed text

Hi.

I've noticed that if I add a long(ish) comment to a file, that the displayed text contains html break mark-up, i.e.,
. These breaks appear around every 47 characters.

Here's a copy/paste example ...

Comment: Now is the time for all good men to come to the
aid of the party. The quick brown fox jumps over
the lazy dog.

Any suggestions as to how to either turn-off the inclusion of the encoded mark-up (<br />), or to fix the problem by including real breaks?

Revision History not working

I downloaded the latest zip file from the OpenDocMan website... (on or about ~1Jan16)

I basically followed instructions I found here:

I created a WAMP server & installed OpenDocMan "community" 1.3.4, database version 1.3.0

All is working except I'm when I'm attempting to retrieve prior versions.
I have 3 versions of the same document, but can't check out prior versions.

From "History", the URL is this:
http://192.168.33.11/opendocman/history.php?id=1&state=3

When I click at "1", the URL is this:
http://192.168.33.11/opendocman/details.php?id=1_0&state=2

When I click "view", the URL is this:
http://192.168.33.11/opendocman/view_file.php?id=1_0&state=3

"To view your file in the new window Click Here", the copied link address is this:
http://192.168.33.11/opendocman/view_file.php?submit=view&id=1&mimetype=application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.presentationml.presentation

That link seems to regularly provide me with the "latest version".
The Download button provides the same latest version

In my data folder:
C:\Files\OpenDocManData\revisionDir\1

I can see there are 1_0.dat and 1_1.data files, which when renamed w/ a proper extension are the proper versions.

Can you advise on where I'm going wrong?

Copy Link from: "To view your file in the new window Click Here"
and retrieve this link:

Edit that link to replace id=1 with this:
*&id=1_0&*

Then the first revision of the file downloads.

Any thoughts on whether I need to edit PHP to fix this or if I'm just missing something?

Generic error message when logging in without password

According to the docs for manual install, you are supposed to login with Admin as the id with no password. The error message you receive is generic, "There was a problem with you loggin in, please try again"

The admin id on initial install has a password set, Admin and Admin for user and password.

When there is a password missing or incorrect, the error message should be specific in that the credentials are incorrect, not just a default error message.

Error in SELECT query

I successfully trialed OpenDocMan on a local xampp server. However my attempts to install on a remote host have been frustrating. Initially I got a login screen but tripped over the dataDir setting. However I now can't seem to get past this error:

Error in query: SELECT cl27-docs-t58.odm_user.username FROM cl27-docs-t58.odm_user WHERE cl27-docs-t58.odm_user.id = 1
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-docs-t58.odm_user WHERE cl27-docs-t58.odm_user.id = 1' at line 1

The version of pmpMyAdmin used by the host does not permit renaming the database so I'm stuck with the prefix "cl27-".
It also does not allow me to check table privileges.
The tables are all collated as: "latin1_swedish_ci"

Any suggestions?

Administrator rights cannot be set for users

Hi, I have a newly installed OpenDocMan on my CentOS and the website is being set ready. Under admin account, I tried to add new users and I would like assign some of them with admin rights. However, every time I checked the admin checkbox under the user profile and then submit, the system will prompt as update successfully. Then when I go back and display the user profile, the admin status shows as unchecked and it wont allow to perform admin task with that user. Appreciate if anyone can help on this.
