"There is a problem with your dataDir": Can't resolve - skt - 04-15-2011

Hi
I just installed Opendocman. I changed the config file according to the instructions. And it showed that the installation was successful .

But when I am trying to log in, I am getting this message "There is a problem with your dataDir. Check to make sure it exists and is writeable". How could I resolve it?

I have searched on this forum and tried 'dataDir' => '/var/www/document_repository/', also created a folder named 'document_repository' in the OpenDocMan installation directory but could not get it working.

I am using a GoDaddy account with Linux server.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thank you
Saikat

This is probably too old but...

The godady dir listing is not /var/www/opendoc.....

Look in your server control panel and look for your servers directory path. It will list the actual local server path to your files.
It should be something like /3456/234/yourname/var/www/....

I am trying to correct this problem and am having no luck. I know that the path to my root directory is home/my user name/www
How do I use this in the configuration file if I created my document repository at www/document_repository
