Community Support for OpenDocMan (Deprecated)

Hello,


I wish to install opendocman in a server and all the branches of our organization can connect to it. An important feature I would need is when remote file are added from a branch over the Internet, the files getting transferred need to be compressed.
Files mostly consists of doc, pdf and text based file, they are to be converted from physical form to digital form through scanner.

Is this compressions available as of now?
