Full Version: Can't renew documents

I have a few documents in my installation (1.2.6.6) that have expired. I would like to renew them, but unfortunately I am unable to check them out for renewal. I can view them, and see histories, but not check them out or edit them. I am the registered owner of these files, and registered to the correct department.

Can anyone help?

I am unable to duplicate this issue. Here is what I did:

Changed my site setings:

file_expired_action = Show in list but not able to checkout
revision_expiration = 1

I then ran the file expiration tool and some files became expired. I then logged in as the owner of one of the expired files, visited the details page, and the user has the "Check-out" option available.

Your admin can reset the status of that file in the admin area.
