Community Support for OpenDocMan (Deprecated)

Hi, who can help me with my problem?
During download of pdf and doc files I get the following error message.

MIMETYPE: x-type/subtype Failed

My System: WIN7, Xampp (localserver), Firefox 11.0
All files are writable 777

I've tried all sorts of files all without success.

"x-type/subtype" is not found anywhere inside the opendocman code. Did you add this as a custom file type?

Try with a different browser.

Verify you are running OpenDocMan 1.2.6.

With Internet Explorer does the download.
It's just a shame that it does not work with firefox.

Thomas, I am thinking it could be from a firefox plugin or something. I use firefox and have never seen that message. I will keep an eye out though and see if anyone else reports this issue.

Had the same problem and solution was in changing browser from firefox to explorer

Looks like there is an issue with Firefox and PDF uploads. I am looking into it to see if there is anything I can do, but you could add "x-type/subtype" to your allowed filetypes list and see if that helps.

While I was trying to add a pdf and word doc file. I encountered this error times without number. adding of document in the online demo version was without problem. I wonder why this is giving me problem

I read through your thread and I changed from Google Chrome to Mozilla and even to IE. All the same error is what I get.
