Community Support for OpenDocMan (Deprecated)

Why everyone from same department can see all files added by that department even when they are not shared with him?
They can't download it, or edit it or do anything with it, but they can see that files exist.
Is they way around this?

Pls Stephen is there way around this?
Using 1.2.6 beta with over 700 files in it, soon to be 1000+, and this is slowing it down for everyone.
People that add files now have to wait for all files list to load since they are all in same department and can see all files that someone from that dep added.

Changing the department permission to "none" I believe would make the files invisible by default. A user would have to specifically be added to the View permission in order to see it.
