"There is a problem with your dataDir. Check to make sure it exists and is writeable"
what is that???
You need to check the config.php file and make sure the dataDir setting is pointing to the correct folder on your computer. Also, that folder needs to be writeable by the web server.
c:/somedirectory/documents/ or something like that.
