I'm hosting my site on PowWeb, just incase that helps.

I created a MySql database and user.

I modified the config.php file.

I uploaded all of the files to my website.

I typed in <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mywebsite/FolderWhereIUploadedEverything/">http://www.mywebsite/FolderWhereIUploadedEverything/</a><!-- m -->

and I get the message: "403 - Forbidden"

So, I went into Dreamweaver and changed the permissions for the entire folder that I uploaded to allow everyone permission to do everything (which obviously I'll change later).

I get the same message.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, this early in the game?

Thanks....

That is something you will have to work out with your hosting provider more than likely.

PS. We do offer shared hosting accounts w/OpenDocMan installed.

Here is our smallest plan:
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="https://www.logicalartsinc.com/cms/signup.php?package=37">https://www.logicalartsinc.com/cms/sign ... package=37</a><!-- m -->

Thank you Steve. I will look into both options!
